School Fair 2018
On Saturday, June 2, 2018, the Lycée Français de Singapour travelled for the School Fair!

We were looking forward to it, the biggest event of the year at the Lycée Français de Singapour, the School Fair !

This year, on the theme of travel, the School Fair took the whole school to new horizons. On the program, singing and dancing shows of our talented students and various professional demonstrations such as Tahitian dance, judo moves, Kendo techniques, some Thai boxing jab... a real world tour on stage.

A day entirely dedicated to the students, from 10am to 4pm, young ones and older ones enjoyed a great moment of recreation thanks to the variety of games offered (50 stands!). It was also an opportunity to spend a pleasant family moment for a pleasant break at the various food stands on display.

A family day but also day of solidarity, the volunteer organizing team devoted itself to prepare you an extraordinary fair. Many parents and students were kind enough to volunteer on D-Day to help the organizing team run the food and game stands for the children to enjoy to the end.

A book fair offering a wide choice was opened that day, all incomes from this operation will go directly to the humanitarian group associations.

June 2nd also marks the release of the famous 2018 Yearbook, special edition for the 50th anniversary of the Lycée Français de Singapour, currently available on both campuses (at the boutique and reception).

This year was also distinguished by our generous partners (more than 70 this year) who contributed in various ways to the success of the school fair. Their collaboration is a key element to organize a fair that pleases the 5000 people present. The raffle was all the more beautiful, offering great prizes including trips to luxury hotels, Apple items or even unique experiences like an A380 aircraft simulator and these are just a few examples. We warmly thank the organizing team for their incredible work but also the D-Day volunteers who made it possible for the children to spend a beautiful day and bring the School Day to life again this year.
