Top history scholars compete at LFS: collège scoop first prize!
This weekend the LFS hosted the Singapore International History Bee and Bowl tournament which saw 75 history scholars, from ten schools across Singapore, compete head to head.

Congratulations go to the collège LFS team for coming first in the History Bowl: Adrien Divo (4F), Virgile Goldberg (5C), Akira Barros Griffiths Sugeno (4B) and Malvika Das (5E).

And congratulations to Akira Barros Griffiths Sugeno (4B) for coming second in the History Bee (for individuals).

All our students, from 5e to 2e, gave a strong performance and have shown real progress since the last tournament in December.

This is the third year running we have hosted the tournament and it has grown year on year.  The tournament is divided into middle school (collège), junior varsity and varsity teams (lycée). Competing schools included Dulwich College, GEMS World Academy, St Joseph's Institution International, Jurong Junior College, Bukit Batok Secondary School and Hwa Chong Institution.

Our students are now on their way to the Asian Championships of the International History Bee and Bowl which will take place on 15 to 17 June 2018 at Khao Lak, Thailand.
