Top honours for LFS at the International History Bee and Bowl Asian Championships
The Lycée Français de Singapour performed brilliantly at this weekend's International History Bee and Bowl Asian Championships.

Congratulations go to Pierre-Caudal from 3G for winning first prize in the Geography Bee (for individuals) in the Middle School, and Philippe Demptos (3G) and Adel Baudet (3D ) for reaching the semi-finals in the History Bee (for individuals).

One of our two teams reached the quarter finals for the History Bowl, coming 5th in Asia: Philippe Demptos, Pierre-Adam Caudal, Adel Baudet, Pedro Sanchez Moreno and Noe Bertramo.

The other contestants deserve congratulations for their sterling effort: Akira Barros Griffiths Sugeno, Tom Klehr, Tanguy Schwaar Leblanc, Victor Canard Duchene, Chloe Das, Adrien Sallay and Lena Vandenabeele.

Over 200 students and 52 teams, from age groups 5e through to 1e, attended this tournament at Hwa Chong Institute in Singapore.  LFS was represented in the Geography Bee, the History Bee and the History Bowl divisions by our 12 students from 5e, 4e and 3e. Schools attended from within Singapore (Dulwich College, OFS, NPS, Hwa Chong etc) and overseas (Thailand, Japan, the Maldives, the Philippines etc). Our sister school the Lycée Français International de Tokyo also attended and our students' families kindly welcomed them as homestays.
