🎉Last Day of Terminale at IFS ✨
An unforgettable day for our Terminale students, who celebrated their final moments on campus with laughter, colour and emotion!
The day featured creative costumes, bursts of colour, confetti showers, water slip ‘n slides and above all, a contagious joy and sense of freedom 💫
A beautiful moment of friendship and fun, shared with teachers and the vie scolaire, who also joined in the festivities! 💥
👏 Well done to this amazing group for their energy, team spirit and positivity. We’ll miss you! ❤️

🎉🔐 Escape Game in Spanish class!
As part of the Spanish curriculum 1ere students explored the pre-Columbian heritage of the Andean countries through a fun and immersive Escape Game.
🗺️ In teams, they solved cultural riddles to unlock the El Dorado treasure chest… and win cinema tickets! 🎟️
Beyond the fun, this activity strengthened key people skills like teamwork, communication, time management, leadership, problem-solving and empathy. 👏
A creative way to learn, connect and grow!

✨ Secondary Gymnastics Competition at IFS this weekend! ✨
It was a magical moment, blending grace, perseverance, technique, sport, endurance, fair play, and above all, a wonderful team spirit.
The girls showed incredible kindness and support towards each other, a true example of solidarity and respect. 🙌
A huge congratulations to their coach Maslina, who did an amazing job preparing and guiding them throughout this journey.
👏 Well done to all for your dedication, passion, and fantastic results!
We can’t wait for the next competition as this moment was truly unforgettable!

🤝 Cross-Curricular Collaboration : Primary Meets Secondary! 🔢💻
In line with the maths curriculum and the school’s primary–secondary transition programme, a CM2 class recently welcomed a 5e class for a shared learning session.
During this special activity, secondary students introduced their younger peers to programming with Scratch, a fun and educational way to explore coding through creativity and logic.
💡 This peer learning was beneficial for everyone:
– The younger students gained confidence and learned in a more relatable, hands-on way.
– The older students strengthened their understanding by explaining what they had learned, a great way to deepen mastery!
It was a wonderful opportunity to share knowledge, build confidence, and bring the learning community closer together.

🎨 Visual Arts Workshop 🖼️
The end-of-year exhibition for the Visual Arts Workshop is currently on display at the 3C.
✨ This weekly 2-hour workshop offers students the opportunity to further explore visual arts. Some students use this time to build a strong portfolio in preparation for art-based higher education, while others simply wish to continue developing their creativity in High School.
Throughout the year, they’ve worked on personal projects using a wide range of techniques and mediums: sculpture, painting, drawing, and printmaking with materials such as oil pastels, clay, plaster bandage, charcoal, ink, and more.
Take a quick look at some of their work and for the full experience, you still have a few days left to visit the 3C and admire their beautiful creations!
A big thank you to Sharon Feenan, Visual Arts teacher, for her guidance and support throughout the year.

🇫🇷✨ A truly unforgettable day at IFS! 🇸🇬
Friday 30 May 2025 will remain a special moment in our school’s history as we had the incredible honour of welcoming the President of the French Republic, @emmanuelmacron, and Mrs @brigittemacron__ to the International French School (Singapore).
👨🎓👧 The President took time to meet and speak with our students – from Primary to High School – in a warm and engaging exchange.
🌱 He also visited our brand-new Zero-Energy Kindergarten campus, a symbol of IFS’s strong commitment to ecology, innovation, and the future. The campus will officially open in September 2025!
🤝 The President then met with our School Board, introduced by Mr Ludovic Mathé, President of the Board.
🎤 In front of the IFS and French communities in Singapore, he delivered an inspiring speech addressing some of today’s key issues: sustainability, global cooperation, education, and the strong ties between France and Singapore.
🎶 And what a moment of pride: our talented Senior Choir, led by Ms Julie Demange, delivered a moving rendition of La Marseillaise – a performance that brought real emotion to the event ❤️
📸 A heartfelt thank you to everyone who made this extraordinary day such a success.

🎭 Two plays, two worlds, one incredible display of talent on stage!
The high school students from the Lycée ‘Option Théâtre’ and ‘Atelier Théâtre Seconde’ delivered an unforgettable performance with two bold and original productions: Amer M. by Joséphine Serre and Les Toilettes by Tristan Choisel..
With Amer M., the students explored themes of identity, memory, and the stories we create to make sense of the world. A poetic and moving investigation, delivered with nuance and emotion.
Les Toilettes took us into an absurd, offbeat world where humour, mystery, and creativity collided in a lively and inventive performance.
🎬 On stage, the students shone with talent and dedication, bringing their characters to life with heart and authenticity.
🎉 They clearly took great pleasure in performing, and we took great pleasure in watching them!
A huge bravo to all the actors, and the team behind the scenes for this beautiful moment of shared theatre. 👏✨

🌈 Be Yourself Day at IFS
Today, our school proudly celebrated diversity, respect, and self-acceptance with a full day dedicated to Pride, a first for IFS!
✨The goal? To explain the meaning behind Be Yourself Day, encourage open conversation, and remind everyone that you can be proud of who you are, no matter your identity.
Colourful bracelets were offered to those who wished to wear a symbol of support, and conversations between students and teachers helped open up dialogue in a safe and supportive environment.
💬 A vibrant Post-it wall also came to life, filled with kind words, uplifting messages, and affirmations encouraging everyone to be themselves with pride.
A wonderful day of awareness, dialogue and mutual respect, one we hope to repeat and grow

🏊♂️👟 CE2 Aquathlon – Pure energy and determination!
Our students gave everything they had during an exciting aquathlon combining swimming and running 💪
Physical performance, team spirit, fair play, and plenty of cheering each other on, it was all there! 💙
Swimming like pros, pushing through the run, trying to slip on trainers with wet feet (not so easy 😄)… yet every student rose to the challenge! 🔥
👏 Regardless of who crossed the line first, to us, you were all champions 🏅
It was such a brilliant day… shall we do it again?

🧡 From Classroom to Community: Seconde LVB Mandarin Students in Action 🧡
As part of their Mandarin curriculum, our Seconde LVB students took part in a meaningful community service visit to Sparkle Care @ Serangoon.
They connected with the elderly residents through a variety of engaging activities: Tape & Design, Batik painting, gentle warm-up exercises, a sing-along session, and touching interviews to discover life stories and personal memories.
More than just language learning, this experience was about embracing values, culture, and human connection.
It was a beautiful moment of intergenerational exchange, where students stepped outside the classroom to build empathy and strengthen their understanding of Singaporean culture.
A heartfelt thank you to @pcfsparklecare @ Serangoon for their warm welcome and continued support!
